Anne Gaertner

Operations Manager

Biography

Anne joined ÃÛÌÒapp in 2021 as the operations manager for the School of Business. She supports the dean to ensure high levels of engagement with the business community and overall student success. Anne works to create consistent messaging about the School of Business with stakeholders in the context of the overall ÃÛÌÒapp brand strategy. She acts as a liaison with the ÃÛÌÒapp Career Center to support positive graduate outcomes in addition to managing of various administrative functions.

Prior experience includes leading another Christian university’s first employer relations program to identify internship and permanent career opportunities for students resulting in 90 percent of employers expressing interest to hire student interns for a permanent position. Before pivoting to higher education, Anne developed and executed strategic public relations plans to support the image, reputation and business development goals of West Michigan’s largest employer, Spectrum Health.

Aside from her time on campus, Anne enjoys spinning, advocating for mental health and spending time with her husband and son.
