United HealthCare Student Plan Insurance 2023–24

To ensure that students have access to necessary medical care, ÃÛÌÒapp requires all students who are enrolled in 6 or more credits to have health insurance coverage. The university offers coverage for you if you need it. United HealthCare provides year-round coverage for $2,100. You will be automatically enrolled in United HealthCare unless you provide proof of comparable coverage and sign a waiver form by the specified date.

Detailed, up-to-date information is available at the  website. If a student has valid health insurance that provides (major medical) coverage while studying at ÃÛÌÒapp, an online waiver form demonstrating adequate coverage must be completed. However, please do not assume that a plan provides coverage: it is strongly recommended that students investigate carefully with their insurance company prior to completing the waiver.
